Tulsa-born writer-director Todd Lincoln makes his feature film debut with “The Apparition,” a horror-thriller starring Ashley Greene (“The Twilight Saga”), Sebastian Stan (“Captain America: The First Avenger”) and Tom Felton (the “Harry Potter” franchise). The first trailer for the movie recently debuted.

Lincoln previously produced the hit 2011 deadCenter Film Festival documentary “Biker Fox.”

“The Apparition” is due to open in theaters Aug. 24, and I got the chance to talk to Greene last fall at “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ junket in Los Angeles about working with Lincoln on the movie:

“It was really fun working with him, and … you could just tell that this was his baby and he was so passionate about it. And Todd actually fought for me on that movie. I met with him, and he was kind of one of the driving forces that got me that role, so (I’m) very thankful for that,” she said.
