Carrie Underwood, Mumford & Sons, Taylor Swift and more donate items for WhyHunger auction

Checotah native Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Mumford & Sons, Jason Aldean, the cast of the TV show “The Walking Dead” and more have donated signed memorabilia to Hungerthon 2012, WhyHunger’s annual campaign and radio broadcast to fight hunger.

Bidding went live today at CharityBuzz.com. The goal is to raise more than $850,000 this year for hunger and poverty relief, according to a news release. Initial items are listed below and plans are to add new items over the next few weeks:

Carrie Underwood signed guitar and CD

Mumford & Sons signed guitar

Jason Aldean signed football

Willie Nelson signed guitar

Pink signed guitar

Kelly Clarkson signed guitar

The Walking Dead Issue 1 comic book signed by cast members

Kix Brooks signed guitar and CD

Tori Amos signed piano bench

Jerrod Niemann signed guitar and CD

Lee Brice signed album and poster

Taylor Swift signed guitar and program

Rita Houston in-studio experience
