Release the Tatum!
On his post-Oscars special Sunday night, ABC talk show host Jimmy Kimmel released the uproarious extended trailer of his fictional movie “Movie: The Movie 2V.” This, of course, would the sequel to his 2012 fake movie “Movie: The Movie.”
This year’s star-studded faux trailer features Channing Tatum, Jessica Chastain, Bradley Cooper, Gerard Butler, Jude Law, Samuel L. Jackson, Salma Hayek, Bryan Cranston, John Krasinski, Armie Hammer, Rachel Weisz, Kerry Washington, Topher Grace, Bruno Mars, Jason Schwartzman, Amanda Seyfried, Oprah Winfrey, Wolf Blitzer and, of course, Matt Damon.
Along the way, it also mocks “The Avengers,” “The Twilight Saga,” “The Walking Dead” and “Clash of the Titans.”
Tatum, who performed a soft-shoe during the opening of the Oscars and stars in “Movie: The Movie 2V” as the only force of sexiness that could save the world, and Jamie Foxx, who stars in the Quentin Tarantino’s Oscar-winning film “Django Unchained,” were Kimmel’s guests on his post-Oscars episode. Tatum and Foxx co-star in the upcoming action vehicle “White House Down.”
As a bonus, check out the trailer from “Movie: The Movie” and Kimmel’s other new faux trailer, “Life of Psy.”
