New releases for Feb. 26, 2013: Taddy Porter, Luke Dick and Johnny Polygon release new albums

Stillwater-based rock band Taddy Porter released today its sophomore album “Stay Golden,” via Primary Wave Records. The album is available via iTunes, Amazon and Best Buy.

As previously reported, Taddy Porter will play Oklahoma’s official showcase, The Buffalo Lounge, at the South by Southwest next month in Austin, Texas. The band’s CD release party Friday night at the Wormy Dog Saloon, 311 E Sheridan, will double as an Official SXSW Kickoff Event. For more information, go to www.wormydog.com.

Musician/storyteller Luke Dick, a Yukon native who now lives in New York, New York, released today his new album “Abraço.” As previously reported, he premiered last week the heartwarming short film “Bread for Boppa,” which features the song “Everywhere” from the new album. And hip-hop artist Johnny Polygon, who hails from Tulsa, is dropping his new album Wednesday. But he’s offering a chance to stream it now on his Facebook page.
