Here are my picks for the Best Bets for entertainment in the Oklahoma City metro this weekend, as listed in Friday’s Weekend Look section of The Oklahoman. For more events, go to www.wimgo.com.

1. Watch the annual OKC Gridiron Show poke fun at state, local and national elected officials at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Lyric at the Plaza, 1727 NW 16. Information: www.okcgridiron.org.

2. Celebrate the release of Stillwater rock band Taddy Porter’s new album with fellow Oklahoma musicians Mark Gibson, Tallows and Horse Thief at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Wormy Dog Saloon, 311 E Sheridan.
