Jase and Missy Robertson of the hit A&E reality series “Duck Dynasty” paid a visit to Oklahoma earlier this week.
As previously reported, the couple appeared Sunday at Yukon High School as part of Piedmont Schools’ annual charity event, DUCK Week.
On Monday, Jase and his wife visited Oklahoma Christian University with their three children, and he spoke to a standing-room-only crowd of more than 2,500 people at OC’s chapel service. In addition, Jase, a member of the White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ in West Monroe, La., and a camouflage-clad OC President John deSteiguer waded into the university’s duck pond for the interview posted above. In the video, Robertson talks about his faith, family, the surprising success of “Duck Dynasty” and more.
Robertson also took to Facebook today to express how much he appreciated his time in Oklahoma:
Thanks for coming to events in Oklahoma this week. Personally, I thought they were ‘fantastic’. Loved me some DUCKweek and OCU chapel. Next, had a great time with pro golfer Bubba Watsom and his caddy ‘Teddy’. They good, REAL good, seriously, AMAZING. Honestly, I was more impressed with their personality and character. We also made some sort of “shake” video. I provided security, was fun. Tonight, we have two new episodes of Duck Dynasty. Si and I choose sides in a version of an argument over a creature of the wild that we’ve had for about 10 years. Second show, Willie and I go to the woods and discover two strange creatures. Thanks for watching in advance….
