Wednesday Video Spotlight: Idabel "Sweet Talker" and "Leaping in the Water"

Check out “Sweet Talker” and “Leaping in the Water,” two music videos from recently formed Oklahoma City-based atmospheric folk/Americana band Idabel.

Both songs will be featured on Idabel’s upcoming debut EP. Here’s how the band describes itself on Facebook:

We are three young-ish gentlemen who have been playing music together, in one way or another, for the better part of 5 years. We’re all from Oklahoma. We share the same musical vision, the same ideal destination, and we draw from the same sources for general inspiration. We are also brothers and we love each other.

The trio of Andy Coppinger, Michael Khodabakhsh and Taylor Godsey played Tuesday at the Buffalo Lounge, Oklahoma’s official showcase at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas. To read more about who else is playing the Buffalo Lounge, click here.
