Chesapeake Energy Arena Oklahoma City, OK

Grammy Award-winning hip hop star, label owner and TRUKFIT apparel brand founder Lil Wayne will bring his high voltage, eye-popping live show to the Chesapeake Energy Arena on Aug. 21 with the return of his “America’s Most Wanted Music Festival.”

Tickets to the Oklahoma City show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. They will be available online at LiveNation.com or y phone at (800) 745-3000

The 2013 tour is the followup to the rapper’s blockbuster, record-setting 2009 “Young Money Presents: America’s Most Wanted Music Festival,” according to a news release. The 2009 trek grossed approximately $42 million and drew nearly 804,000 fans, cementing Lil Wayne’s status as one of the top touring artists.

The multiplatinum-selling recording artist, who recently broke Elvis’ record for the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with an impressive 109 entries, will tour in support of his 10th studio album, “I Am Not A Human Being 2″ (Cash Money Records). The album has already spawned two hit singles, “Love Me” (featuring Drake and Future) as well as “No Worries” (featuring Detail) which ultimately clocked in at No. 1 on Urban radio.

An indefatigable performer renowned for his extended headlining sets, full live band, and use of pyrotechnics and creative stage and lighting design, Lil Wayne’s 2013 “America’s Most Wanted Tour” is billed as a visual and aural spectacle on a scale unlike anything else he has already accomplished in his two-decade career.
