— Moore residents who live in areas hit hard by Monday's tornado now have a place to pick up their mail.

The Moore post office branch at 601 S Interstate 35 Service Road was heavily damaged.

Customers from ZIP codes 73153 and 73160 who cannot receive mail at their homes may pick it up from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Airport Finance Unit, 6500 Air Cargo Road. Customers from ZIP code 73170 can pick up mail from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Santa Fe Station, 201 SW 134.

The U.S. Postal Service is working with the city of Moore to place temporary post offices in the affected delivery areas by early next week.

Customers are required to provide their delivery address and a valid photo ID in order to pick up their mail.

Letter carriers for both Santa Fe and Moore stations started delivering where possible Thursday.

Affected customers may call the Oklahoma district U.S. Postal Service customer hotline, (866) 295-7514, to receive the latest delivery service updates for their area.

Any customer who would like to receive delivery service through an alternate post office may rent a post office box by visiting the office or by going to www.usps.com.
