Keilani Ricketts twisted, raised her arms, lowered them and sent another strike sailing across home plate.

In the senior pitcher's first 18 throws, she threw 14 strikes. Ricketts struck out the first five batters she faced and 13 total in Oklahoma's 10-2 win in Game 1 of the Super Regionals against Texas A&M.

Ricketts now has 304 total strikeouts this season.

GAME TIME FOR GAMES 2 AND 3

The NCAA announced the start time for Game 2 between Texas A&M and Oklahoma will be at 11 a.m. If a third game is necessary, the start time will be 2 p.m.

GASSO MISSES POST-GAME PRESSER

Patty Gasso slipped out of Oklahoma's 10-2 victory as soon as Keilani Ricketts crossed the plate.

Gasso's son, DJ, graduated Friday night from Norman North, and Gasso was hoping to make the ceremony.

“We were hoping to play a great game to get her on her way,” assistant coach Melyssa Lombardi said.

SOONERS IN THE STANDS

*Former Sooners punter Tress Way sat along the third baseline. Way is now a punter with the Chicago Bears.

*Oklahoma women's basketball coach Sherri Coale sat to the right of home plate. After the Sooners scored a run in the bottom of the sixth, she grabbed an OU flag and ran the main concourse of the stadium to the cheers of fans.
