Route 66 car show, children's parade attract people to Bethany

The glory days of Route 66 were celebrated Saturday as downtown Bethany held its third annual Bethany 66 Festival.

The festival featured live music, a car show, a motorcycle show, arts and crafts, and a children's princess and action hero dress-up parade.

A Memorial Day tribute featured retired Maj. Gen. Rita Aragon, secretary of military and veterans affairs for Oklahoma, and the Northwest Classen High School color guard and rifle team.
