Edmond North's choice for its new football coach will be up for approval with Edmond Public Schools board of education at a special meeting Wednesday morning.

Edmond North has been working to replace Jeremy Dombek, who left two weeks ago to take the head job at Mustang.

Dombek took Edmond North to the Class 6A playoffs in five of his six seasons at the helm, reaching the state quarterfinals in each of the last three years.

Broken Arrow's Emma Allen shot an even-par 72 to close out a two-stroke victory in the girls tournament over Tulsa Union's Marla Souvannasing. Deer Creek's Caroline Goodin finished third, four shots off the pace.
