Power outages continue in central Oklahoma Monday from Friday storms

Almost 24,000 power outages reported in central Oklahoma Monday. Crews continue to work to restore power in storm-damaged parts of the Oklahoma City area.

About 24,000 power outages are reported Monday morning as crews continue to work to restore electricity knocked out by storms in the Oklahoma City area Friday night.

Oklahoma Gas & Electric Co. website reports 23,980 outages. The outages include 4,228 homes and businesses in north Oklahoma City, 3,541 outages in west Oklahoma City and another 1,286 outages in south Oklahoma City.
