UPDATE: Firefighters recover girl's body Monday

The search for a woman lost in Friday's floods continues.

1:40 p.m. Firefighters recovered the body of a female child about 1:20 p.m. Monday near Interstate 35 and Interstate 44 along the Deep Fork River, Deputy Chief Mark Woodard said. Woodard said crews still are searching for an adult female.

10:45 a.m. Firefighters are searching an area near NE 61 and Aluma Valley Drive in northeast Oklahoma City along the Deep Fork River. A helicopter has been requested to assist.

7:52 a.m. Six people are still missing in Oklahoma City Monday morning from Friday night storms, fire Deputy Chief Marc Woodard said.

The areas where people are missing are from Interstate 44 and SW 15 in the Oklahoma River area. The other area is NW 26 and N Meridian Avenue and at Broadway Extension in the Deep Fork River.

Woodard said firefighters began searching areas again at 7 a.m. Monday
