OKC Thunder: What they're saying about Jeremy Lamb

by Darnell Mayberry Published: June 4, 2013

Thunder coach Scott Brooks on Lamb's defense: “It's something that he has to get better, and he will. He will have a summer with us to get stronger and to continue to work on the defensive principles that we work on every day.”

Thunder forward Nick Collison: “I was impressed with him and his work ethic. … It's not easy mentally to come in every day when you know you're not playing and to do the work.”

Thunder forward Perry Jones III: “I feel like Lamb is a pure shooter. I expect a lot out of him.”

Thunder general manager Sam Presti: “He can do a myriad of things with the ball and he's a very, very gifted offensive player as a passer and a scorer and a playmaker. He'll be a work in progress.”

Thunder forward Kevin Durant: “I'm just trying to teach him how we do things and what it takes to do what he wants to do in this league.”
