Sooners motto "Faith, Fight, Finish" carries them from National Title Loss to Champions

“We absolutely give God the glory in this victory” – Oklahoma coach Patty Gasso after winning the 2013 national title

They wore their motto on their shirts many practices this season: Faith, Fight, Finish.

Months after losing the national title to Alabama in the final game of the National Championship series, Oklahoma turned to those three words in times of trial and tribulation.

From the second they watched Alabama dogpile at their feet and throughout a 57-4 National Title season, the Sooners played for that motto.
