In an editorial on Friday, the Washington Post urges Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Muskogee, to return to the Gang of Six and articulate the need for new revenues as part of a deficit-reduction package.

  Tom Coburn is doing just fine. "New Revenue" does not have to mean increased taxes. Our Senator has been looking for 'new revenue' for about 6 years in the form of eliminating tax credits, eliminating subsidies, selling excess property, on and on and on. Why don't the liberals on Capitol Hill listen to him for a change instead of always expecting him to give up and give in and compromise? Bobbie McAuliffe Poteau, OK
