Money Still Coming In

by Chris Casteel Published: July 23, 2010

State Rep. Mike Thompson still leads 5th District candidates in the dollar amount of big contributions collected in the last two weeks, but he hasn’t reported any new ones this week. Fellow Republicans James Lankford and Kevin Calvey have reported donations in the last few days.
Thompson has reported a total of $22,800 in late contributions. The contributions that must be reported in the days leading up to the election are those of $1,000 or more. As of mid-afternoon on Friday, Thompson hadn’t filed a new report since Sunday.
Calvey has reported $15,600, with his most recent report coming on Wednesday.
And Lankford has reported $14,500, with his most recent report filed today.

UPDATE: Sometime on Friday after this post was written, Thompson’s campaign reported two contributions, totaling $3,500, from the political action committees for ophthalmologists and the Tulsa-based Williams Companies.
