Barons game will be played as scheduled

Amid forecasts of potential severe weather, the Oklahoma City Barons will host Grand Rapids Friday night in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals at 7 p.m. inside the Cox Convention Center.

Barons officials encourage fans to be safe driving to the game.

Team officials will monitor the weather and have a severe weather plan in place. In severe weather, team officials will help fans move to safety in the parking garage below the Cox Convention Center and the tunnel system under downtown Oklahoma City.

Barons officials will continue to monitor the weather and provide updates.
