The Oklahoma City RedHawks drew even with visiting Round Rock Express in the PCL's American Southern Division with a hard-fought 6-4 victory at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Brett Wallace and Jake Elmore would homer in back-to-back innings to bring in three runs Saturday night, after the RedHawks were held scoreless in eight of nine innings the night before.

The game became tense in the top of the ninth inning after the Express' Robinson Chirinos hit a solo home run to left field to bring Round Rock within two runs.

With one out, the RedHawks' Rhiner Cruz walked Jim Adduci, and Jared Hoying singled to put the tying runs on base. Josh Zeid came in to pitch and got the final two outs of the inning.

FEIERABEND DOES BREAK

Round Rock pitcher Ryan Feierabend would break on several occasions in the Express' second game against Oklahoma City. The left-hander would allow two home runs and three multiple-run innings in his five innings pitched.

He wound up giving up nine hits, six runs — all earned — walked one batter and struck out four.
