Here comes the bridal designer … .and it’s Zac Posen. He hitched his creative talents with David’s Bridal for a collection of bridal gowns that’s much more budget friendly than his usual clothing.

Called Truly Zac Posen, the line will consist of six gowns that will be in stores February 2014. The gowns will be in gradations of ivory and priced between $850 and $1,350.

Posen doesn’t leave out the bridesmaid or mother of the bride either. And lucky for them, the five “social occasion dresses” can make the walk down the aisle or into the cocktail party. Those dresses will be available in neutral hues and a metallic jacquard. These are easy on the wallet, too, with prices that will range from $195 to $225.

Posen doesn’t take his bridal designs over the top. Instead, he prefers contoured bodies and long trains.

Other lines at David’s Bridal include Vera Wang, Oleg Cassini and Melissa Sweet.
