Police arrested a man accused of shooting another man Tuesday morning.

Joseph Moore, 33, was detained about 11:30 a.m. after a man was shot in northeast Oklahoma City. Moore was arrested on complaints of shooting with intent to kill and robbery.

A man called police about 6:15 a.m. and told them he had been shot. Police found him between the 6000 and 7000 block of NE 63.

The man was taken to OU Medical Center and is expected to recover, police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

The man told police he had been at a casino earlier, won a significant amount of money and met with three people: two men and one woman, she said.

Police detained the three for questioning but only arrested Moore, Wardlow said.
