UPDATE: Classes to resume at OSU-OKC following bomb threat

A bomb threat was called in to OSU-OKC, police report. The school at 900 N Portland Avenue was evacuated.

3 p.m. Officials at Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City said Friday afternoon the campus would reopen and classes would resume at 5 p.m.

9:30 a.m. OSU-OKC was evacuated as police investigated a bomb threat Friday morning. Firefighters were positioned outside the school until it was cleared to return

The bomb threat was made to the school by telephone at 9:02 a.m., police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.

The campus was also evacuated in April when a woman called a bomb threat in to the campus security office. The campus day care, along with the police and fire training facility, also were evacuated. The threat proved false.
