Oklahoma Board of Education to vote on list of worst state schools

The state Board of Education is meeting Thursday morning and will soon discuss the list of C3 partnership schools. This list is commonly known as the worst schools in the state.The schools will have a three-year partnership with the state Education Department to turn things around. Here’s a list of the schools the board will consider later this morning:

- Wewoka High School.

- Kenwood Public School.

- Mannsville Public School.

- McLain Junior High and Burroughs Elementary, which are in Tulsa Public Schools.

- Marcus Garvey Leadership Charter School, an Oklahoma City charter school that has been shut down. (Click here to read about that.)

- Bodine Elementary, which is in Oklahoma City Public Schools.

- Graham High School and Dustin Elementary, which are in Graham-Dustin Public Schools.

UPDATE: The board unanimously approved the list at 11:27 a.m. Thursday.
