Check out the lyric video for Oklahoma country music superstar Toby Keith’s “Drinks After Work,” the made-for-happy-hour new single from his upcoming, currently untitled album.
In a phone interview last week, the singer-songwriter, who was born in Clinton, grew up in Moore and now lives in Norman, said fans can expect to hear him perform the catchy new song Saturday at his Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert at the University of Oklahoma’s Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
Along with Keith, the sold-out benefit show will feature performances by Owasso residents Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, former Tulsan Ronnie Dunn, Willie Nelson, Sammy Hagar, Mel Tillis and John Anderson. In addition, Checotah native Carrie Underwood will give a special performance via satellite from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tenn.
Net proceeds (minus only credit card merchant fees and OK sales tax) will benefit the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund.

On Friday, look for the first part of my interview with Toby about the benefit show.
