Oklahoma City producer and jazz aficionado Jeremy Gossett will take music lovers behind the music and into the lives of America jazz musicians with his new series “Backstage Jazz.”
The pilot episode “Backstage” of hits the airwaves at 9 p.m. Friday (tonight) on KGOU FM and rebroadcasts on Sunday at 7 p.m. on 106.3 Norman, 105.7 Oklahoma City-Spencer, 103.1 Seminole, 97.9 and 91.9 Ada, 106.9-Chickasha, and 88.1-Woodward.

This week, the show will visit the William J. Clinton Presidential Center to celebrate the opening of the exhibit “Jazz Through the Eyes of Herman Leonard,” trumpeter Rodney Block, and the manager of the Herman Leonard Jazz Photography Collection, Steve Smith.
The program, which Gossett produces and hosts, will showcase local favorites like Justin Echols and the Edmond Jazz Orchestra along with nationally known artists like David Sanborn and David Amram.
