Things could get awkward for students who show up with iPhone 5s and MacBook Airs this fall.

MSN.com reports Boston University is kindly asking a federal court to ban the sale of a wide range of Apple products, claiming they contain a device patented nearly 20 years ago by Professor Theodore Moustakes.

The university is also asking for a healthy share of Apple’s profits, according to MSN.com.
