Woody Guthrie Foundation presents Todd Snider and Dustin Pittsley Tulsa, OK

Today’s featured event:

TULSA – Hear singer-songwriter Todd Snider play at 7 tonight at Cain’s Ballroom, 423 N Main. He will be performing a benefit show for the Woody Guthrie Coalition, the nonprofit organization that produces the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival.

Dustin Pittsley will open the show.

“Even though folk music has probably not been anywhere near as effective in my day as it has been in the past, it still feels like Woody Guthrie is the Grand Poobah of our thing,” Snider told me in a recent interview.
