FBI seeks Sayre bank robber

The FBI is looking for a white male, 40 to 50 years old, with medium to heavy build after a bank robbery about 4:15 p.m. Thursday at InterBank, 123 W Main St., in Sayre.

A man demanded money from a bank teller before making off with an undisclosed amount in a McDonald's bag Thursday, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said.

The FBI is looking for a white male, 40 to 50 years old, with medium to heavy build after a bank robbery about 4:15 p.m. Thursday at InterBank, 123 W Main St., in Sayre. He wore a red-and-blue baseball cap with “New York” in white lettering on the front and a blue bandanna under the cap, according to an FBI statement.

The man did not brandish a weapon and no one was hurt, according to the FBI.
