Two die in wrecks on Oklahoma roadways

Two people have been killed in state crashes. One person is dead in Oklahoma City, and another person is dead in a Tulsa crash.

A woman was killed in a southwest Oklahoma City crash late Monday, and a person died in a Tulsa crash early Tuesday, police report.

Gena Russell, 50, of Oklahoma City

Russell was killed in a single-car crash in the 14800 block of S Meridian Ave. The driver's side of the car hit a utility pole, police report.

Unidentified driver

A person was killed in Tulsa early Tuesday in the southbound lanes of U.S. 169 at S 71st East Avenue, Tulsa police report. No further information was released.
