UPDATE: Ex-husband arrested in shooting death of Oklahoma woman

A woman was shot and killed late Wednesday in Lawton.

11:20 a.m. A man has been arrested in connection with the city's 12 homicide of the year, police report.

Traci Young, 39, of Lawton, was shot to death about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of NW Andrews.

Young was lying in a hallway with two gunshot wounds to the chest, police report.

Her ex-husband, Bryan Pierce, 48, was arrested and jailed on a homicide complaint. The couple had been divorced since May, police report.

5:45 a.m. LAWTON — Police are investigating a woman's death late Wednesday, a local TV station reports.

Officers were called to a home near 12th and NW Andrews about 11:30 p.m. where a woman was shot to death. A man was seen being escorted from the scene in handcuffs, the station reports.
