Man arrested in shooting
A man has been arrested in the death of Traci Young, 39, of Lawton. Young was shot to death about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of NW Andrews, police said. Her ex-husband, Bryan Pierce, 48, was arrested and jailed on a homicide complaint. The couple had been divorced since May, police report.

Inmate adds to sentence
An inmate charged with escaping from the Ottawa County jail was sentenced to 18 years in prison, court records show. Bryan Thomas Delaney, 44, of Seneca, Mo., was sentenced Tuesday in Ottawa County District Court. A jury convicted him July 1 of escaping from a penal institution and resisting arrest. Delaney also was ordered to serve a year in the Ottawa County jail on the resisting arrest conviction and was fined $10,000, court records show. Delaney was being held in the county jail in September 2012 in connection with a July 2012 theft at the Miami Holiday Inn. After complaining of chest pains, he was taken to Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami where he escaped from police custody. He was found several hours later in a park.

Arrest made in robberies
A man suspected of robbing three banks in Oklahoma was arrested Wednesday night in Midwest City, the FBI reports. Dana Ray Sommers, 45, was arrested about 10 p.m. in the 8500 block of E Reno Avenue by members of the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, according to an FBI news release. Sommers was sought in the June 27 robbery of MidFirst Bank, 2547 E 21, Tulsa. He also is suspected in two robberies in Oklahoma City — one June 18 at First Fidelity Bank, 700 SW 29, and the other July 16 at Bank of the West, 1600 SW 89, according to the news release.
