NORMAN–The Oklahoma men’s basketball team will hold its third annual Sooner Basketball Family Weekend on Aug. 23-24, Sooners coach Lon Kruger announced Wednesday.

“This event has been tremendously successful and is one of the most fun things we get to do each year,” Kruger said in a release. “Welcoming back all the players and coaches who helped lay the foundation for this tradition-heaped basketball program is truly exciting for us and we’re happy to offer the opportunity for them to re-connect with each other, reminisce about their time as Sooners and share the weekend experience with our current team and fans.

“This is a yearly highlight for everyone involved.”

Entries into the gold event are $200 per player. Friday’s dinner is $50 for person. To register orfor sponsorship opportunities, call 405-325-4732.
