Non. Stop. Action.

That’s what viewers are in for as Season Three of the Cinemax drama “Strike Back” begins.

Section 20 counterterrorism unit operatives Sgt. Michael Stonebridge (Philip Winchester) and Damien Scott (Sullivan Stapleton) are on a much-deserved vacation traveling on motorcycles in Northern California.

But their rest and relaxation is brought to an abrupt halt when they are summoned back to work (by helicopter) after a fellow Section 20 member is killed on a mission to track down terrorist al-Zuhari in Beirut.

Stonebridge and Scott then wind up in Colombia in search of a known associate of al-Zuhari’s, and another season of adventures commences.

Winchester and Stapleton, again performing virtually all of their own stunts, continue to play their roles as tough soldiers with heart and humor perfectly, and Rhona Mitra brings an extra intensity to her character, Maj. Rachel Dalton, this season.

New cast members Robson Green, Dougray Scott and Milauna Jackson also deliver solid performances in this series that’s a must-see for action fans.

With scenes filmed in South Africa and Budapest (that include jungles, a mine field, a boat shoot-out and skydiving,) this season is off to an exciting and edge-of-your-seat start.

Season Three of “Strike Back” premieres at 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, on Cinemax.

SPECIAL NOTE: For fans needing to catch up or relive Season Two of “Strike Back,” it was released on DVD and Blu-ray Tuesday, Aug. 6 and includes fun commentaries from the cast and crew!
