Isaiah Cousins scored 23 and D.J. Bennett added 20 off the bench as OU beat Belgian semi-pro team Waregem 84-66 at Rosco Arena in Ronse, Belgium.
The night before, Cameron Clark and freshman Jordan Woodard scored 20 each in a win over Ghent.
Cousins, who is expected to be a strong contributor at guard as a sophomore, was 11 for 15 from the field with two assists and three steals. He was 7 for 9 from the floor in the first half.
He season-high as a freshman was 10.
Bennett, who redshirted last year, had eight rebounds and was 7 for 10 from the floor.
Through the two games on the five-game European trip, eight Sooners have scored at least 14 points.
“It’s good to see,” Sooners coach Lon Kruger said in a release. “It’s not like we have to rely on one guy, who, if he has an off night it’s going to be tough. Other guys can pick up the slack and I think we’re going to see pretty balanced scoring.”
Je’lon Hornbeak added 16 points and hit three 3-pointers.
The Sooners jumped out to a 51-33 lead by halftime after taking control with a 34-point second quarter.
Oklahoma forced 25 turnovers while committing 14.
Thomas Foucart led Waregem with 20.
The Sooners wrap up the Belgian part of their tour with a game at 7 a.m. Saturday (2 p.m. local time) against St. Jan-Antwerp in Antwerp, Belgiam.
