Bob Stoops on Trey Metoyer's sprain: He'll be OK

by Ryan Aber Published: August 12, 2013

Sophomore receiver Trey Metoyer had been raising eyebrows with his play through the early days of camp but went down with an injury to his left ankle late last week.

Bob Stoops said the injury wasn’t a major one.

“He’ll be OK,” Stoops said. “It’s just a sprain.”

Stoops said everyone came through the scrimmage without injuries, though several players have been dealing with sprains and other minor injuries.
