Marshall to extend run for Arrowhead Pale Ale

Breaking news from Marshall Brewing on the hops front: The Tulsa brewery has been able to secure more of the hard-to-get Citra hops it used for its summer seasonal Arrowhead Pale Ale and will now extend production of the beer.

Here’s a news release issued moments ago from Marshall:

TULSA — In the 11th hour of Arrowhead Pale Ale brewing, our most popular seasonal beer has received the beer equivalency of a Hail Mary pass. Brewmaster Eric Marshall was able to secure an additional supply of Citra, the signature hop of Arrowhead Pale Ale.

“We are often asked about making Arrowhead Pale Ale year round, and in truth, it’s something we consider. However, the limited availability of Citra often determines the length of the Arrowhead season. This year we will have an extended season,” explained Marshall.

Look for Arrowhead Pale Ale to continue to be available on draft and in six packs where craft beers are sold.

Arrowhead Pale Ale aims to quench the thirst of hot summer afternoons and warm evenings. Arrowhead is an American pale ale crafted to provide refreshment as a lighter, highly quaff-able ale complimented by unique aromatic citrus notes that both tickle the nose and enliven the palate. Complexity, balance, and softness make Arrowhead Pale Ale a ridiculously easy drinking summer seasonal. Arrowhead Pale Ale is a conservative 5.2% alcohol by volume and a balanced 40 IBUs.
