The 3-month-old baby who inspired a prayer campaign on Twitter has been released from the hospital less than two weeks after surgery to remove a brain tumor.

Tatum Dunn, the daughter of Broken Arrow assistant football coach and former Carl Albert player Steve Dunn, was released from Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis. She and her family were scheduled to return home on Monday, according to a Facebook post by the family.

Tatum Dunn had surgery to remove a brain tumor on Aug. 8. The tumor was desmoplastic infantile astrocytoma according to the family’s Facebook message. It was benign and believed to have been completely removed.

Over the last two weeks, the Twitter movement known by the hashtag #PrayForTatum swept the state and reached several other parts of the country.

Here is the inspiring story written by our Jenni Carlson two weeks ago, just prior to the surgery.
