Complaint filed in death
Ponca City police arrested a woman Monday on a complaint of accessory to murder in the fatal stabbing of a former Blackwell police officer Aug. 8, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. Neshia Niemeyer, 25, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Kay County district attorney. Niemeyer is a co-worker and friend of murder suspect Luis Frias, who is sought in the death of Janett Reyna, 29, according to the OSBI. Reyna was found inside her Blackwell apartment and was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. Frias, 29, is the father of Reyna's three young children, who were inside the apartment during the stabbing, according to the OSBI. Agents said Niemeyer lied to them when questioned about Frias' whereabouts shortly after the killing. They said Niemeyer drove Frias to his aunt's home in Enid and gave him one of her cellphones. Niemeyer told investigators she did not know where Frias was. Her bail was set at $50,000. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the OSBI at (800) 522-8017.
