Oklahoma Congressmen Plan Town Hall Meetings and Events

Members of Oklahoma’s congressional delegation, in the midst of a five-week break from Washington, have town hall meetings and events planned next week. Most are open to the general public.

NOTE: SEN. TOM COBURN’S TOWN HALL MEETING SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY IN SHAWNEE HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

On Monday, at 5:30 p.m., Rep. Tom Cole, R-Moore, will hold a town hall meeting at the Ardmore Convention Center:

AUG. 27

Rep. Frank Lucas, R-Cheyenne, is holding a fundraiser Tuesday morning in Oklahoma City with House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. The money will go to the National Republican Congressional Committee, which funds GOP congressional campaigns.

At 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Rep. James Lankford, R-Oklahoma City, will be at the Wewoka Civic Center:

At 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Rep. Jim Bridenstine, R-Tulsa, is hosting a town hall meeting on tax reform. There will be a panel that includes radio talk show host and author Neal Boortz, Chief Economist and VP of Research for Freedomworks Dr. Wayne Brough, and tax lawyer and University of Tulsa College of Law professor Dennis Bires.
