Tulsa native Ryan Tedder will advise Adam Levine’s team on Season 5 of “The Voice,” show runners announced today on the NBC series’ official Facebook.
Tedder, the frontman for OneRepublic and a Grammy-winning songwriter/producer who has worked with the likes of Adele, Beyonce and fellow Oklahoma native Carrie Underwood, will help Levine coach his Team Adam contenders during the show’s Battle Rounds.
OneRepublic performed its single “Counting Stars” with Season 4 finalist Michelle Chamuel during “The Voice” season finale back in June.
Show officials previously revealed on Facebook that returning judge Christina Aguilera has recruited Ed Sheeran as her Season 5 celebrity adviser.
“The Voice’s” fifth season premieres Sept. 23 on NBC, with the Battle Rounds planned for October.
