The drawn-out saga between Johnny Manziel and the NCAA seems to have reached its conclusion.

According to a report by ESPN, the NCAA and Texas A&M have agreed to suspend Manziel for the first half of the Aggies' season-opener against Rice on Saturday. But that's it.

The NCAA, according to ESPN, has acknowledged that Manziel didn't accept money for autographs (or couldn't prove that he did) and the punishment comes from permitting the use of his name for commercial purpose.
