Here is a look at what players and coaches were saying after Oklahoma's 34-0 victory over Louisiana-Monroe:

Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops on the passing game's struggles:

“We still feel we'll be more polished throwing the ball as we go. Some of it's gonna be on the ground. Regardless of how you get it, as long as you get yards and points, it adds up the same.”

Louisiana-Monroe quarterback Kolton Browning on his team's emotions coming off the loss:

“We've got to pick each other up. It's a tough loss. It's a hard one to swallow, especially since with the season we had last year and the expectations everyone has for us this year.”

Louisiana-Monroe coach Todd Berry, on the loss:

“I'm disappointed but not distraught. Obviously I am anxious for another game because this one I would like to forget.”

Oklahoma center Gabe Ikard, on the team rushing for over 300 yards:

“We know how elaborate some of the schemes we have are. We know that if we get a body on a body, there's gonna be a lot of big plays, especially getting the ball in the hands of Trevor and all those great running backs we have.”
