Midwest City man drowns in Oklahoma lake

A Midwest City man drowned Sunday in Kaw Lake, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Michael Eugene Glover, 25, was swimming in the Kay County lake about 6 p.m. with his girlfriend. He went under the water east of the Traders Bend boat ramp and never resurfaced, troopers said.

Glover's body was found in about 10 feet of water about 8 p.m. He was not using a personal flotation device, troopers said.
