Guide to No. 4 Guthrie at No. 14 Duncan

by Jacob Unruh Modified: September 6, 2013 at 2:10 pm •  Published: September 6, 2013

When: 7 p.m., Friday

Where: Duncan

Players to watch: Guthrie — Kai Callins, RB/DB. Callins tore his ACL in the first half of last season’s game against the Demons. He’s back and is 100 percent. How he plays will determine how far the Bluejays go this season.

Duncan — Daniel Moore, OL. The Demons always have a strong offensive line and Moore will be this season’s anchor.

Storylines: Guthrie — New quarterback Reed Roberts is ready to step in for Bryan Dutton and he has plenty of experienced offensive weapons around him. If the Bluejays protect him, he could have a big night.

Duncan This could be a rebuilding year for the Demons, but their Wishbone offense could present problems for Guthrie.

The pick: Guthrie 32, Duncan 17
