SCOUTING TULSA

Record: 1-1, 0-0 in Conference USA; coming off Saturday's 30-27 win over Colorado State.

Best player: Senior running back Trey Watts rushed for 152 yards and also recorded 58 yards on eight receptions in the Golden Hurricane's win Saturday. He's the son of former OU quarterback and United States Rep. J.C. Watts.

Why Tulsa could beat OU: The Golden Hurricane offense struggled mightily in a season-opening loss at Bowling Green, but seemed to work some of that out Saturday. If Oklahoma struggles to throw the ball and turns it over again, it could allow Tulsa to hang around.

Why Tulsa will lose to OU: The talent gap is simply too wide for Oklahoma to lose to this smaller in-state foe.
