The Syfy series “Haven,” starring Emily Rose, Eric Balfour, Lucas Bryant and Adam Copeland, begins its fourth season at 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13.
A summary of the season premiere, provided by Syfy, is as follows:
Season 4 picks up six months after the devastating events of the Season 3 cliffhanger, in which the sleepy Maine town was pummeled by a violent meteor storm and Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) and Duke Crocker (Eric Balfour) vanished into thin air, leaving an injured Nathan Wuornos (Lucas Bryant) marooned in Haven.
In the premiere episode, titled “Fallout,” Duke finds himself in unfamiliar territory after being ejected from the barn…without Audrey. During his journey back to Haven, Duke meets Jennifer Mason (Emma Lehana, Hellcats), a young woman with a mysterious connection to the town. In another place – but at the same time – spunky bartender Lexie DeWitt pours drinks for customers, unaware of her uncanny resemblance to Audrey, for whom everyone in Haven is searching. Nathan, meanwhile, has fled his hometown even though the “Troubles” are worse than ever before.
Returning this season are beloved bullet magnet Dwight Hendrickson (Adam Copeland), now with increased jurisdictional power, and the untouchable Jordan McKee (Kate Kelton). “Haven” will also introduce new characters including William (Colin Ferguson, Eureka), a handsome and mysterious stranger whose secret agenda leads him to Audrey, and Duke’s estranged half-brother, Wade Crocker (Christian Carmago, Dexter), a good-natured businessman with a dark and lethal secret.
“Haven,” based on the novella, The Colorado Kid, from renowned author Stephen King, follows former FBI agent Audrey Parker, who becomes a cop in the small town of Haven, Maine, and soon discovers the town’s many secrets – which also hold the key to unlocking the mysteries of her lost past.
