Quick guide to Christian Heritage at Mount St. Mary

by Jacob Unruh Modified: September 13, 2013 at 5:10 pm •  Published: September 13, 2013

When: 7:30 p.m., Friday

Where: Father Kenneth Fulton Field

Last week: Hennessey 28, Christian Heritage 14; Crooked Oak 27, Mount St. Mary 21

Players to watch: Christian Heritage — Colton Lindsey, QB. Lindsey threw for two touchdowns in last week’s loss. He’ll carry the load this season and will be expected to do so against the Rockets.

Mount St. Mary — Malcolm Davis WR/DB. With Lindsey at quarterback, Davis will have his hands full against a good group of receivers. If he can come up with a big turnover like he has in other games, St. Mary might be able to slow down Christian Heritage.

Storylines: Christian Heritage — Last week the Crusaders took control early, only to lose their grip in the fourth. If they jump out to a lead Friday, can they hold on this time?

Mount St. Mary — Can quarterback Matt Peace put up another big game? He rushed for 160 yards and two TDs. He only threw for 11 yards, though.

The pick: Christian Heritage 28, Mount St. Mary 21
