Oklahoma State as a national title contender?

Sure, why not.

So says ESPN analyst Todd McShay, who squared off with Mel Kiper Jr. on the website to the question of “Who is your quiet contender for the BCS Championship?”

The conversation extended beyond Alabama and Oregon, who were considered the favorites. Here is a link to the story.

Kiper Jr. liked FloridaState, for good reason, as the Seminoles have been quite impressive thus far – on both sides of the ball – and ride major momentum and optimism with the energy boost provided by freshman quarterback Jameis Winston.
