Tebow reportedly turns down $1 million Russian deal Published: September 22, 2013

Tim Tebow has rejected a million-dollar offer to play American football in Russia, according to FOXSports.

The site reports Moscow Black Storm owner Mikhail Zaltsman, who made the offer for Tebow to play in just two games, confirmed in an email that the polarizing quarterback respectfully denied the pitch.

“Unfortunately agents of Tim Tebow turn down our proposal,” Zaltsman said in e-mailed comments. “I hope that its Tebow’s agents’ fault that the contract wasn’t signed and Tim couldn’t do anything about it.

“If it was his decision – it’s very upsetting. And in this case we don’t want him in our team anyway.”
